Any time you switch types of hosting, there will be a server change.

  • If switching between Shared and Reseller and VPS plans, there is a server change.
  • If switching to or away from any Dedicated server plan, there is a server change.
  • If moving to or away from a Windows Shared plan, there will be a server change.
  • If you are changing types of VPS, then there will be a server change. (The types of VPS include cPanel VPS, Plesk VPS and Semi-manged VPS. VPS levels 1 & 2 and any VPS that does not have cPanel or Plesk are considered Semi-managed. VPS' with cPanel or Plesk are considered managed.)
